My son was wounded in Iraq on April 18th... his buddy that was with him was also his room mate and was killed int he same accident.....an IED hit their humvee.. His buddy's nickname was Captain America so Josh got this tattoo as a memorial tattoo... Lance's name is across the bottom and on one side it says KIA and the other April 18th 2008.. It took around 7 hours to do but it looks great...

OK... 3 more things done.. I've been a bit busy getting ready for my son to come ( 18 1/2 hours )  but I managed two of the flag hot pads to put under hot dishes at his homecoming dinner party this weekend ( did I mention he'll be home in 18 1/2 hours)  and hte other is a sweet little bee... cause.. cause he's cute so I had to make him... to keep myself busy... cause MY SON IS COMING HOME IN 18 1/2 HOURS!!!!

.. sorry I'm a bit over the top about it.. but he is in a Guard unit that has lost 5 with 33 wounded since March 22. He was wounded April 18th and you know... as a a mom, I just need to give him a squeeze and bake him lots of food and try to help him forget the hell he's lived through...  I can't wait

   Here is a bib I whipped up using Cotton Tots... it is so soft and was really a quick do! Makes my total #5 so far...of course I really need to try supermedics coffee cake!

I haven't posted my progress til now but thought I would share ###27 with you... I am in love with this bag... it is crocheted & felted... I am working on another in grey with a dusty rose flower for me.. the daisy is for my bf's b-day...
