Lately, I've been into making little purses out of felt..here is one I did last week, but I am working on one now with a dragonfly, embroidered on it..I will upload it when I finish..I am having to scan things in, right now, so quality is not good.

Jenne......I know why you love my name.. Grin

I made it from felt. I made it from one 10" and a 10 1/2 inch  felt square....I made the one a little larger to allow for shrinkage on embroidery.. After you embroider it,,, bond your back to your front with wonder under, stitch withchery..that sort of thing.....Then....Y ou just bring the two oppisite sides (corner points.)together right and left as you are looking at them here..., fold and sew....then pull the flap down..then attach a handle and tassels....I am going to put a button and loop on it.  Right now I have a bright yellow stick pin holding it closed... Grin

I laid my handle in, when I was bonding front to back but you don't have to....just attach your tassels with a larks head knot to your handle corners...all done...thanks to Katy J on my embroidery site for the pattern above..

Hope someone makes this..I would love to see different ones..I am making a smaller one next,,,7 and one half maybe..for my emb. scissors..of course you don't have to emb...you can patch or bead or whatever..

I thought this little embroidery pattern was so cute, I decided to try and make a little softie from it....I used black felt, and old orange, vintage button eyes..I still can't find my camera cord but I managed to scan it in...best I could do..he does have legs..LOL
