1  First embroidery on silk in Needlework: Completed Projects by eveH on: November 06, 2006 06:10:46 PM
I made a Christmas heart using silk. I thought it would be harder than cotton, but it was really quite easy to embroidery on...think I might try it again...My first thing I have done for Christmas this year...made me feel in the mood to go shopping.  Grin

5  ribbon roses in Needlework: Discussion and Questions by eveH on: November 04, 2006 09:44:36 PM
I tried making some ribbon roses tonight with the 7mm ribbon the instructions said use, and they were so tiny you could hardly see them...what could I be doing wrong? I didn't pull tight.

10  My Purple Heart in Needlework: Completed Projects by eveH on: October 25, 2006 08:43:13 PM
My Purple Heart....I loved doing this one. I didn't do the middle piece, that was a braid. I thought it looked like embroidery though so it fit in. Someone actually swapped my other two with me so I am hoping they will like this one too. This is for my COH (chainsofhearts) group on Yahoo.  These things get addictive.
