1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / DKNY Cozy...anyone knit one yet? on: April 28, 2007 09:38:01 AM
Donna Karan's DKNY has had a piece that is a staple in their line called The Cozy
(http://www.dkny.com/nshop/product.php?view=listing&section=shopwomens&category=apparel&groupName=cozy)
The season dictates what it's made with: cashmere, silk/cashmere, cotton...
It's basically a sweater and the front pieces are very long.
It's worn numerous ways and is very very versatile. (Go to the link called "12 Ways To Wear A Cozy")
I'd like to know if anyone's seen it and figured out how it's done.  Wink
2  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Everyday Tweed at The Garter Belt on: September 22, 2006 05:52:28 AM
Shortly after I saw this sweater--and filed it away in the "Come Back To This Later" pile--I found the called-for yarn (Jo Sharp Silkroad DK Tweed) on Clearance.
What could I do? There was no choice. I HAD to buy the yarn!!!  Wink
So, is anyone else making http://www.thegarterbelt.com/ms_tweed.html?
The colour I got is called Beanshoot, and like a beanshoot, it's kind of an off-white with greyish flecks in it. Perfect all-season colour. Not that I don't wear my white shirts in the winter. I'm just sayin'.
