2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Summery placemat totebag on: August 20, 2006 10:30:07 AM
My most recent creation. Its a little late in the summer for the colors I think but there's always next year...

It's made out of 2 woven placemats and lined with white linen napkins with a velcro closure and ribbon handles.
The flower is a hibiscus flower stencil and the stamen of the flower is beaded with clear beads.
I think I've decided to give it to my friend for her birthday this week.
What do you all think?

Anyone know where I could find a stencil of a motorcycle like this one?

I am making a t-shirt for my brother for his birthday and the only ones I can find are Harleys or too cartoonish.
He has a motorcycle just like this one.
Can anyone help me out???
TIA!

Bag 2 (modeled by my super ugly bench that needs to be recovered) I made a matching little card wallet to go with it. The lining is made from an old sheet I already cut up for kitchen curtains:

I was having fun with the way the denim frays...
Comments anyone? Any feedback would be great. Smiley
