1  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Buying material for stash on: November 16, 2006 12:56:52 PM
I've only very recently started sewing and I'm gradually building up a small stash of fabric.  One thing I can't decide on a lot of the time is how much fabric to buy of one particular design.  I was wondering if any of you have a minimum amount you always buy if it is just for your stash and not for a particular project.

Also, I would ask the same question about iron-on interfacing, along with which weight you use the most.

I realise that this is one of those "How long is a piece of string" type questions, but I'm really after personal choices, not hard and fast rules.
