Here's my version, done with some Peaches and Cream cotton that striped up unexpectedly nicely.

Here's mine, though figuring out the nubble was kind of hard.

A friend of mine ended up forcing me to knit this for her, so that's why I, a boy, indeed am wearing it (and, in retrospect, looking a little drugged up and pale sans glasses. Oh well). Its a really neat emerald green wool/merino (probably the most expensive and nicest yarn I've worked with at a grand total of $7.50) that didn't photograph as well as it should have. I nixed the ribbing and just knit the whole thing due to a lack of time/patience.

It turned out, once I learned how to do short rows/use stitchmarkers/read a pattern for the first time, fairly nicely. One hole isn't bad.
