10  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Rose cane on: May 28, 2009 04:49:31 PM
My best friend has asked for a polymer clay pen with roses on it, eek!

Found a tutorial at polymerclaycentral called the Trueleigh rose canehttp://www.polymerclaycentral.com/rose1.html and thought would give it a go

so far so good, now to pack with transculcent clay

Oh no! not too happy with this result!!! Sad What do you think i did wrong? maybe the distortion is due to the fact the translucent clay was quite hard? would that make a difference? Think i should have been more patient and softened the translucent more?  Any ideas would be welcomed Thanks Smiley
