Ah! I'm being stalked! No, kidding. Great minds think alike.

Stitch n Bitch is basically a group of people getting together, talking and stitching (knit, crochet, sew, etc)

You work in kzoo, where do you live? (stalk stalk stalk)

ACK!!! I have a craft stalker!

I live out by Paw Paw.
Ok I get it!!! Stitch n Bitch! (guess I better get another cup of coffee!)

Have you ever checked out the Kazoo chapter of the American Sewing Guild? I picked up a brochure last time I was at Field's. I e-mailed the contact person to find out about their meetings & never heard back from her. Angry

So this sounds perfect!

HI!

We seem to be bumping into each other a bit on craftster!(I promise that I am not stalking you Wink ) I actually work in Kazoo! I am not sure what a
"stitch n bitch group" is (I'll have to check out the GR Yahoo group to see) but I would probably interested. Pop me a PM if you want.

If you end up making it, post pics when you're done

I will definitely post some pictures when I get done. I have decided to make this a "lunch break project". I hope that I will be able to work on it daily & actually get if finished before the next Millennium!  Roll Eyes

Thanks again for the help!

Ok I see what you are saying. I figured that there was a lining in addition to the outside fabric. I was probably making it more complicated than it needs to be. Thank you!

Not to butt in on your thread but I just saw these little bags yesterday & thought that they must be made similar to the way that lunch bag is. My question is how do you attach the crocheted part to the fabric part after you crochet it?

Kategirl ~ If you make that lunch bag I would love to see how it comes out! Its a very cute idea!

I would maybe call it a Hobo type bag? I don't know all the different names for bags that are out now but that is what it kind of looks like to me.

It looks similar in shape to this Hot Patterns bag, only bigger.

Good for you Debs! Make yourself something pretty! Thst is a much better way than what I used to do after a break up, giving the o'l credit card a workout at the mall. Your way will be much more rewarding!

And my dream is that I have enough time to make this one too:

But I'm leaving the country in July, so... unlikely.

I love anthropologie's clothes soooooooooo much!

I love that black dress too! You know Simplicity 4116 would be the perfect base to copy that !http://www.simplicity.com/assets/4116/4116.jpg[/img]
