1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My hat will blow your mind on: November 28, 2006 02:57:01 PM
A hobby I'm hoping to turn into a career.
Tell me what you think.

2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / wool and light bulb topiary (complete w/ photos) on: November 25, 2006 12:22:31 AM
well the title is pretty self explanitory. being on a tight budget and this being the first christmas I need to decorate means I get to be totally creative.
Now how to make the actual christmas tree? hmm

This project involves scrap wool, a burnt out light bulb, beads, wire and a glue gun. If anyone wants a tute just ask.

And tell me what you think.

3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / wool headed concept on: October 16, 2006 02:29:49 PM
So this is my first post and its not even really my work. My boyfriend spent a good long evening putting these extensions in.
I came up with the look while kniting qand it seemed like a good alternative to the cut and dye change I normally go for.

In total this cost about $15 plus man hours. But if you have someone who loves you that can be free.
It is done by pinch braiding. If anyone wants a tut let me know but I think its pretty easy to figure out.

I've had them in for about 2 weeks now. Only warning is the itch. Which can be solved with alittle watered down moisturizer. Do not I repeat do not shower with these badboys in they will smell like wet dog the way wool does if not dryed properly. My friend followed my lead but couldn't hold back and had to take them out.

And if you could let me know what you think. No one in my real life has said anything. positive or negative
