Hey guys, I hope you have all been well and enjoying your weekend. These are some rings I have been working on recently.I was never much of a ring person before, but now that I have started I don't think I can stop lol. Anyhow I hope you like them. Opinions more than welcome
The Flowering lotus (vintage components, metal bead from singapore).
Poison Red (icy iridescent cabs - love the sparkle )
Sunny Yellow
Forget me Knot (vintage components/austrian crystal)
Hi everyone. I have had these beads for quite awhile, and was never quite sure how to incorporate them into cute designs. I particularly loved the flowers and how shimmery they are, but when I hung them, the whole effect and design was lost. I finally found a way to get them displayed the way I like. I call the hooks half hoops. I never saw this shape before, but I figure someone has done this before. Let me know what you think.
Simple and pretty
I call these calypso coconut..they reminded me of a delicious ice cream I had recently with that same name. It has tons of colourful fruit mixed in it..yummy.Anyhow I used sea turqouise, crystal rondelles, multi colour beads and pearls.
Hi everyone. This time I am showing you guys some earrings I made recently. I like combining colours and different materials, and that being said..the heart earrings are my favourite. I need to take better photos to capture the colours, but they are a pretty shade of purple, and the beads I used are actually 2 tone celestial crystal (sorta like window beads). They are iridescent at the top, and jet black in the middle and I know..green and purple sounds like an odd combo, but somehow it glistens and reflects the colours from the other materials used which I think is pretty neat. The flower earrings are acrylic and lucite..also shimmery..lol.. I would appreciate your opinions on these. Thanks
I tried to get a close up to show the pretty beads, but the lighting is not the best.
and here are another set of earrings I made awhile back that I just remembered ...passion and pineapple fruit hybrids.
Hi everyone. I have been away for quite abit and have finally started back making little trinkets after recovering. As usual..these things are simple but cute.I hope you guys like them.
Midnight Blue (This is one of my favourite..and I love the way it looks when light hits it)
I was never really into kitschy jewellry or bright colours before, but over the last few months I grew to love them.
Hello everyone. This is one of my favourite new pieces I made recently. It's so simple, but pretty and shinnnnny..lol and I like the concept as well. I hope you like it.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. Here are some more of my newest crafts. I love the Ariella tulips, they turned out even better than I even imagined. It was really hard to capure the colours in the photo. The items below are made from copper, vintage parts and stampings.
Emerald Delight (simple, but I love the extra umph the crystal gives it and they look really pretty and delicate)
Vampire Bat (I love huge, unusual, but simple necklaces if those even go together hahah)
Hello everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I have been working on so many things lately, and I am dreading taking photos of over a hundred things..maybe in a years time I will get that all done and uploaded haha. Anyhow here are just a few simple things I put together. The afternoon tea was my favourite. Hope you like.
Venom the Snake
Afternoon tea
ferocious flying tiger (lol my boyfriend was telling me to add spikes to this chain. I bet it would look cool and maybe I would try that..but I doubt it would be comfortable to wear).
Some of stuff I have finished recently.First off to start with Cherie 2 way earrings. These are one of my favourites..they are simple with lots of bling..lol, and I love the way it swings showing flowers on one side, and leaves on the other.
Mertle is just so cute and reminds me of the juvenile green turtles that we released last semester.
I call this "three's a crowd", he looks jealous doesn't he?
Miami Splash (I fell in love with these sea turquoise stones)
Bouje splash (This one is from dragon skin turquoise)
Hi everyone. First off, I am excited to say I finally found something decent to display my earrings hanging. I had searched for a long time for any nick nacks around the house, and really did not want to have to import anything fancy. I made do with using the CD rack that came with my brand new computer desk, but I hated that. To my suprise, mum came home yesterday with a cute little tea light lamp. I removed the lamp and walla..a hanging thingie. (It is not very good for hanging the earrings beside each other, so one has to suspend above each other)
As usual most of my stuff, is pretty simple, so here are a few recent ones.
These are the latest simple crafts that I have been working on. I did lots of stuff this month, but these are a few that I actually have photos for. I hope you like them.
