Love is the only word to describe this scarf! Cheesy  You rock.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: cable knitting throw on: January 21, 2008 10:33:32 PM
I'm actually knitting the exact same throw as a late wedding gift to my sister but I've been really slacking on it lately.  However, your's turned out great, it's actually kind of inspired me to get working on mine again!  Great job, I hope mine turns out just as lovely as your's.  Smiley

I love the colors in it, it looks very rustic and folksy.  I think I need one!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: a superfast, super easy cable scarf, without cable needles.[yeah, its that easy] on: December 25, 2007 02:30:11 AM
Just like everyone said, it's beautiful!  What kind of yarn did you use?  I'd love to replicate your scarf.  Smiley
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Knitty Winter 07 on: December 05, 2007 02:01:27 PM
Dahlia and Abotanicity are definitely on my sweaters-to-knit-after-Christmas list.  I think I would add long blouson-y sleeves to Dahlia, though.  And kitty reminds me of something I would not want to see in my face in the middle of night.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: is it cold in central park? on: November 15, 2007 11:51:35 AM
Wow, that looks so good!  Now you're making me want one.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Knitscene's Central Park Hoodie on: November 05, 2007 11:03:44 PM
Even if the donegal tweed is scratchy, the way the sweater looks is definitely worth the itchies.  It's beautiful and looks very cozy!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: March Basic Sweater on: November 01, 2007 02:06:24 AM
It looks great and I love your color choice.  My boyfriend even commented on how nice it looks.
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Olive Branch Hoodie Along? (Now with pictures!) on: October 31, 2007 09:59:59 PM
I cheated and casted on today (I promised myself I'd finish the Mini Cardi first) and I'm loving the Amherst, it's very nice to work with.  The pattern seems really well written so far too, it's pretty simple to follow.  I can't wait till it actually starts looking like a sweater!

Unfortunately I do not have that book. :-( Cannot wait to see how both of yours works, though!

You should check and see if your local library has it (assuming you have a local library).  I've checked that book out many times from mine.
