12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Big shirts the tale or a Recon...Images on: November 05, 2006 11:16:10 PM
I love to reconstruct and when i bought a book on how to recon oversized shirts i went mad hatter. Tho im a big believer in "dont follow directions" I just got the inspiration and thought hey i want a patch and went ahead to make this.
This is all made from a mens shirt i liked how it fit a lil bit loose but snug enuf to see a figure. lol i cut a vneck and sowed up the armholes so it fit properly.

Making the patch was a B**** and a half. but this is what i rendered. and lol lets not forget the lil patch i sowed. on..i sowed it on wrong.

Well thats that. What does everyone think?

16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / semi tutorial. twin+beads= muse bracelet pic heavy on: June 25, 2006 06:31:59 PM
Ok i was trying to get some marble jewelry done, and since im super new at this i can tell you this much i bought all the wrong stuff. But working with kids as long as i have been u learn that even with a tube of papertowel and constructionpaper there are things to be made! so here it goes.
These are my tools!

The wrong (Earring posts)
These are for unpieced ears but i thought i can make a dangling necklace. No that didnt really work out.

this is the wrong glue, its not that e6000 everyone talks about on here i couldnt find it i saw this its holding pretty good im afraid of the rain though...=<>

this wasnt so wrong, but it was totally nasty when i put the end piece in my mouth to braid the strings, and yes i did spit it out and found some heavy plyers to help with holdin the other end of the braid.

This is the completed work, btw i printed out and pasted the logo of a band im going to seee MUSE (they rock), i glued the bead with the jwewel it stuff it held up pretty good ive been trying to get it loose to test it out and its holding so Halleluyah... this is for my boyfriend, since hes as big a fan as me. though it looks girly wat do you all think? maybe i can get two equally thick braids and  make a megazord of a bracelet band? would that be more guy like??? OPinions and help are most appreciated.

Thanks for lookin.
