1  ..Also my FIRST YARNS! in Spinning: Completed Projects by HellOfMyOwn on: January 09, 2008 11:38:12 PM
I bought a drop spindle off of Ebay and it took me about a week of trying and retrying to finally get the hang of it.
I learned that I spin 10x better sitting down than standing and that predrafting the heck out of everything till it's perfectly even works waaaaaaaaaay better for me.

Anyways, my first thick and think single called
Beachfront Property:

I'm not even sure what fiber it is besides some type of merino possibly (it was something i picked up ages ago)

And my second single, I bought 4oz of  roving off FatCatKnits on Etsy (she's so nice) and it's called
Clown City:

Mmmm pretty! I love the way it turned out and looked so good as a colorful single I didn't bother plying it.

It's a pretty consistent dk to worsted weight and I've got about 500yards! I think I'm going to make mittens and maybe something squishy out of it Smiley

Thanks for looking!
