1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: my first jaywalkers, second pair of socks, and the beginnings of an addictio on: April 17, 2007 03:07:41 PM
I love these!  Jaywalkers are awesome.  Also, I'm 6'1" and wear a 12, so you're not alone with the big feet... it's awesome when you can make your own socks because you don't have to stretch them all out to get them to fit, ha.

Completely adorable and bumped way up on my list... I live in Mississippi and this would be perfect for a summer shirt.  Love it!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Cabled fingerless gloves of my own design on: April 05, 2007 08:53:28 PM
I love these!!  I sort of glanced at them while I was doing something else and then had to stop and stare.  Great job!

Hey could someone who has the new IK tell me the gauge and needle info for the Cable-Down Raglan?  I've got the yarn already and wanted to start swatching but I don't have a subscription and have to wait another week for the mag  Undecided  Thanks!

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Armhole shaping... Help!! on: February 06, 2007 07:21:50 PM
Oh oh oh... The two rows before it had been casting off at each end and I had it in my head that this was still decreasing at the beginning of each row.  I knew I was misreading something.  THANK YOU!
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Armhole shaping... Help!! on: February 06, 2007 06:49:15 PM
I'm working on Julia from Rowan Classic Summer #11 and when I get to the armholes it says this:

Decrease 1 st at each end of the next 9 rows, then on following 6 alt rows, then on following 4th row.

What the heck does "on following 6 alt rows" mean?  I'm sure it's obvious and I'm having a mental block but I'm confused!!  Thanks!!
