I really like this!  The fabric is great and the lace definitely adds to it.  Did you use a pattern or just sort of wing it?  I've been thinking about trying to make a corset and I wanted to make a simple one sort of like what you've done.  The stretchy fabric sounds like a great idea.  Do you think you could post a tutorial?  I don't have great sewing skills but I'd love to see how you made it.

That looks really good!  Did you sew the lining on by hand?  I've been trying to line some knitted things and I'm not sure of the best way to do it.  Great job on the embroidery.

Keds are growing on me - I really dislike the ads about being "cool" but the shoes have a lot of potential for creative makeovers, as exemplified here.

Hey I'm 17 years old and I love that song and the Talking Heads!  Awesome shirt. My dad has raised me on good music unto the point of which I basically reject all modern music.  The Talking Heads are amazing.  I love them. and great shirt!  I think I will copy you and your fantastic shirt, but no one my age will get the reference, just the same because I like weird music.

I just turned 18 and I've gotten all of my musical taste from my dad.  I was raised on the Beatles and the Talking Heads, and modern music tends to do very little for me.  People ask me my favorite bands and when I say the Talking Heads they're like, who?
