These are great and you did a really good job.  I love the zippers, what a clever idea.  My daughter had me put embroidery patches on a pair of black pants she had and that really brightened them up.  The ribbon idea is a good one too.

Hi,

I live in Ft. white and was wondering if there are any craftsters who live in the area that would like to get together and swap stories, ideas, and whatever.  Let me know if you'd like to meet, or anything.

I so totally agree with SapphireMoon, I don't normally think the sock monkies are that cute, but WOW  Wink these are so adorable.  I am going to find some fuzzy socks like these to make my new grandson a monkey.  I love the facial expression.  Just too cute.  Great job and thanks for sharing. Hi One-and-All,

I got a notion to make a Dotee Doll but make her more practical then just hanging around being cute.  So I made her into a manicure set and I'm so pleased with how she turned out I'm going to continue trying to find practical ways to make Dotees'.  I hope you like her.  Grin

Here she is in all her glory.  Cheesy

Doesn't she have a cute and practical behind.   Grin

Here is a close up of a crocheted flower I never used, well, 'til now.

And here is a close up of her sweet face and how happy she is being so practical.

DAMN! You are amazing and thank you soo much for sharing such a wonderful and detailled tutorial. It must have taken ages.

And I always loved the gussets on store bought diapers, thanks for de-mystifying them for me Cheesy

Thanks, I thought they were a pretty clever design too.  Glad you liked it.  Hope you can follow the tutorial.

BTW, if anyone wants the pattern and tutorial in a pdf file just pm me your email and I'll send it right along.  That way you can just print it out and go.

Could you use a paper towel, pull the two layers apart and use one at a time, folded in half? Would that be OK for a septic system?
I'm not sure about paper towels and the septic system.  We use them when we run out of tp in the middle of the night.  LOL  But I don't know how they will do on a regular basis and they can clog the pipes, I've had that happen before.  Check this place out for some that aren't too expensive http://www.clothdiaper.com/sitemap/biosoft-flushable-diaper-liners.htm

Or, Google "Flushable Diaper Liners", that's what I did.  Gotta love Google. Cheesy

WOW!!!   Grin What fantastic advice!!!  Cheesy I really learned quite a bit and so good to know should this happen to Jonaz.  I am presently looking for the diaper inserts that were available 25 years ago that I used to flush the poo away.  It was great.  They were soft and flushable, and ok for septic tanks.  I'm still hoping to find some as soon as I remember it when I'm at the store.  I seem to forget about it every time I go. Shocked
