Hey chickadee, long time no see (LOL)  I love the dishcloth, did you use cotton yarn or just regular yarn.  My grandmother told me that thick cotton string that's used for boxes or cooking can also be used to crochet dishcloths.  I am on a state pc so I can't email you, but thought I'd say hi.

Well, the diapers did really well.  The PUL was the best to use.  I didn't think about an extra pocket to add an extra soaker pad.  Interesting idea.  My dil didn't use them very much so I refuse to make her anymore.  Yeah, serged edges are just as soft as other cotton thread.  I heard that polyester thread can wick, I'm not sure if that would be a really problem or not.  My opinion is, if that happens change the babies diaper for heaven's sake.  LOL  And I found that turning it right side out was just a pain in the ass, no pun intended.  Anyway, they were diapers.  And if anyone wanted them that way they could do it that way, you know what I mean.  I was just looking for the easiest way to make them since I had to make a bunch.  The problem in this thread was a certain person would be mean in their criticism but for the most part I learned a lot from all the good, kind suggestions and ideas.  So, thanks again everyone.

Awesome!!!!!  You could also get adhesive printer paper and using a graphics program make the labels for the cards and the spaces say whatever you want them to say.  Instead of the spaces saying Marvin Gardens or whatever it could be the bars, stadiums, or wherever the bands play.  You could also look for small charms in the scrapbooking section that are music related, and there are tiny cars/vans/buses in the toy section, and use those for the tokens.  Just a thought.

Well, I love them.  Keep up the good work.  I have the same problem with some of the crafts I make.  I go to craft shows and spend a small fortune to rent the space, just to have no one buy anything.  I get my feelings hurt because other people who have dorky things sell like crazy.  I've never figured that out.  My friend says she sells better at farmer's markets and places like that and it's cheaper to rent the spaces.  I might try that venue one day.

Ha, my last name is Watson too.  LOL.  I don't remember the artist name.  But I got the picture from a catalog of the San Francisco Art Institute, it was thick and full of students work.  I love it.  You can go online and order a catalog with the . . . ummmmm fake. . . intent of going to their college.

Well, I like the fact that I can make things.  Luckily my kids are old enough to understand the situation.  And I have had quite a bit of fun figuring out what to make for them.  Thanks for the complement and encouragement.  Believe it or not, I got a lot of inspiration from this website.
