1  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: "That's a very nice Creeper you have there..." on: July 13, 2011 05:46:02 PM
My 6 year old daughter recognized this!  She loves it!
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My Take on the Increasingly Popular Circle Jacket on: May 21, 2011 02:08:56 PM
I really like it!  Especially without the sleeves Smiley
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: A Sweater fo Me! on: April 16, 2011 12:37:29 PM
That is really sharp!  Great colour and pattern!  I've been knitting for years and my first disastrous attempt at a sweater has scared me off ever since.  I feel very inspired by your success Smiley

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Rainbow Crochet Dread Extensions on: April 13, 2011 08:00:15 PM
So this was my first time and I was following instructions from the internet and working with a 5 year old so all things considered I consider it a win...

Wish I could get away with this at work... Cheesy

Same here!  Sadly I am a bit past the age of having truly fun hair and I'm completely incapable of braiding these into my own hair.

My daughter absolutely LOVES these!  She's only 5 so I didn't have to make too many for her thin hair.  I'll post picks when I get her hair braided up!

Babukatorium:  I've learned how to make felted dreads and I figured out how to make the crocheted ones, but I'm not sure how you created the roving dreads from the last picture.

I think your spider fan fish is pretty awesome!  It's like a character in an anime movie.  My favourite part of your project is the drawing your daughter did!  I love love love how she wrote out shuneal - kids are smarter than the english language Smiley
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Tardis Hoody! revamped and awesome. on: April 03, 2011 01:48:24 PM
I love it!  I love Doctor Who!

But I'm wondering if the Tardis is really cut off or is it just the way the hoodie is sitting?
8  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Moorish Mosaic Afghan from Interweave Crochet Magazine Issue Fall 2009 on: April 02, 2011 06:22:02 PM
I really love the colours you've done that one in Kristel!

My sister has taken over my attempt and she just told me she finished an octagon, but it is 2 inches larger than mine!  I had forgotten to take my finished blocks to her when I took her the yarn and the pattern so she didn't have a reference piece when she got started.  Oddly I do think her hook looked larger than mine even though it's supposed to be 5.5 mm like mine.
9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: Purple Spiral Bracelet on: April 02, 2011 06:04:26 PM
Wow.  Just wow.  Lucky sister and props to you for some mad skills.  Wow.
10  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Wool dreds, and a tutorial on how to make and install them on: March 23, 2011 01:46:10 PM
These are really cool and I'd love to check out how to put them in, but don't see a link.  Did I miss something?
