I wanted a Japan theme for my quilt. So I decided to go bold and fishy! XD
The red and blue fabric is the fish one btw ^^;
Cost about 50 bucks in total to make it. Comments are loved! Grin Cheesy

124  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Decorating spiral bound on: June 11, 2004 06:17:00 PM
What I do is take off the whole spiral, this will be the longest part. Grab some old white glue and maybe some cool pictures, paste them on and then add a top layer of just glue, make sure it drys clear  Wink
After it dries, check or re-punch your holes so you can get your binding back on. At this time you can also add ribbon or whatever you like. Put the spiral back on, *poof* you got a sweet notebook like no one else!  Grin

to decorate the sides/or the spiral I paint it or add some sparkle glue Cheesy

I had tons and tons. I sewed them all together (the sides) and made one colourful skirt! I was great for Hobo day at school and looked really cute when shortened. Also, make a bag, they make wonderful straps  Grin

I was in girlguides myself and I have tons and tons of them. You'd think most of them art sewing of excelence badges, but I actually have some really cool ones that don't look girlguide looking at all. I bought a pain black hoodie (at dog's ear) and sewed on some of the badges. It looked so good that my bf wanted one too ^0^  Wink Grin
129  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Peacock bag ^~ on: May 30, 2004 01:47:22 AM
*phew* this is my first post here ^^; wish me luck.
I made this bag out of scraps from my quilt; I loved the fabric and had one really good piece left. I started putting beads and sequins on it to follow the pattern (of the picture) on the fabric. I really like how it turned out, I sewed it all together and poof! It only took me about 2hrs total for everything. I was really easy too, its a great gift to give someone, I had so many orders after I stated wearing it T_T
Sorry, the picture is really hazy, Ill try to get a better picture later ^^;

Input would be much obliged ^^
