2  Mint Tin gone creepy. in Completed Projects by kuri on: February 13, 2007 10:03:31 PM
I've been wanting to alter one of these mint boxes for ages! I finaly decided to go ahead a do it awhile ago.

I used sculpey for the outside. The inside I used a toy mirror, vial, google eyes and felt for the background. Overal it worked out really great, even though it doesnt snap shut. But then again, it's more inviting to take a peek. X3

Comments are much loved.

There should be more in my flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/kurilord

3  :3 little bear. in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kuri on: October 22, 2006 01:27:24 AM
not a great picture... ^^;;;

I made him out of scraps. I was quite lazy in making him too, he was half done for several months now. I just finished him the other day. It's hard to let him go now ;__;

4  BEAR ARMY - My series of the most fab bears you'll ever see. (lots of picts!) in CHALLENGE 15 ENTRIES by kuri on: October 01, 2006 08:58:13 PM
*woot* I was very excited about this project Cheesy

For my project I made a SERIES (woah!) of bears! (*hopes a series is alright with a admins ^^;;*)

They're all made out of air dry clay, wire, other elements, paint, super glue and much love! Each bear took around 2 days to make (overlapping each other).

(My favourite~ based on my own story I'm writing (called Tea). He took the longest and turned out really awesome. Cheesy ).

(based on snow white, I didn't make the doll ^^)

(muah! My evil squid guy based on Little mermaid, I was just thinking of it while making it :3 ).

(My gambler, based on my friends fairy tale, he's so cute!)

5  A bearunnie! in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by kuri on: August 28, 2006 10:51:22 PM
Half bear half bunny! I'm not so sure I'm done with him yet. He needs a tail, which I might be adding some time this week and more detail on the scarf/or a different one.

Anyways, comments are loved like candy!

made from odds of sculpey, fired, painted, drawn on/ painted, then sprayed. :3. Head moves.

9  DOODLE CARDS. Super easy. in Winter Holidays by kuri on: December 04, 2005 12:46:04 AM

crappy scan.  Angry

I made a bunch of these for some friends at school. I didn't have enough everyone, so I made some colour photocopies.
I used some old recipie cards (blue), or cardstock note paper to make them, the other side is just blank. I guess I was sick of opening cards. XD

They're fairly small (for cards) and sturdy so you can't see through them too ^^

That's my 2 cents, canadian too ^~  Cheesy

10  The GRUNNY! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by kuri on: October 25, 2005 01:52:36 PM

You may have saw him from last year at Gaiaonline.com's halloween event. It so happens that I'll be a zombie lab tech for halloween this year.
He only took 10mins to sew and 5 mins to design. The ears didn't turn out well, but I like him "less than perfect" ^^.
