1  Re: * (Mini) Nerd Swap Gallery of Amazingness * in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Gina At the Disco on: April 27, 2010 04:11:54 PM
Finally ready to post pictures!
I received a wonderfully awesome package from achgfd who knew how obsessed I am with the Beatles so she made adorable figures of John Paul George and Ringo out of paper(+R2D2!).

John

Paul

George

George's ponytail(my favorite)

Ringo

All 4

R2D2

This card was included. I loved the drawings.

She also included some eggs filled with candy in the box but needless to say those were all gone a long time ago.

Thanks again achgfd! Everything was perfect.

Phoebe Lou is a red beagle who is turning 1 year old this Saturday. Just for fun i wanted to see if I could make a mini Phoebe out of polymer clay. Here's the result.

I couldn't get a good picture of the face.

3  Re: Hair Doo Dads Swap - Round 2! in The Swap Gallery by Gina At the Disco on: September 25, 2009 06:18:34 PM
finally got around to posting my pictures. No actions shots though because no one really deserves to witness the hot mess my hair is today!

everything from my group

headband from omgmarissa. its adorable! i love the colors

horribly blurry(sorry!) hair pins and barrette from tcmatteson. my favorite is the barrette because she personalized it from things i said on my survey Smiley

from dopey_44. Everything looks so professional and is so well made!

from luckdragon. reversible headband and butterfly clips with the same fabric. I already wore a butterfly clip and got a lot of compliments

this was my first swap and I had so much fun making and receiving everything. Thanks for swapping everyone!

4  "this is my mix tape for her" in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Gina At the Disco on: March 02, 2009 04:13:04 PM
you guys have probably seen a billion of these after chezlin's awesome tutorial (http://www.chezlin.com/2008/04/cassette-tape-tutorial/) but I figured I'd bore you with just one more cassette tape conversion.  I'm going to use mine as a case for my Creative zen mp3 player.  Grin sorry about the terrible camera phone pictures

the inside. its lined with fleece to hopefully prevent more scratches to my zen.

front. its silver, the lining is dark pink, and the star is teal.

the back. i drew the stars with teal, lime green, dark pink, and black sharpies.

Thanks for looking!

7  creative zen hoodie in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Gina At the Disco on: February 27, 2008 11:55:59 AM
this is my creative zen(aka the love of my life)

this is its brandie new hoodie. its made from fuschia fleece(fuschia sounds cooler than pink Wink). the lining of the hood is fuschia and gold with gold string for the pull cord things or whatever they're called. i made it using a tutorial from www.diynetwork.com. Theres a hole in the bottom for the headphones. I was thinking of cutting out a square inside for the screen but i don't know if it will fray? i use the pocket for my ear buds to keep them nice and toasty. sorry the pics are blurry  Undecided

closer up

lining of the hood

thanks for looking!
