Yay! A terrible picture of a mostly flat tip toe through the tulips!

After I finished this one I ran around to everyone in the house and demanded to know if they could see the flowers.

And I think this is eternal braid. I had to add a LOT of rows to this one to make it 12". I think I did 5 extra?

Ugh, I love how soft and squishy these things get after their first wash and dry. A few new ones! I am going to try to remember what these are.

My version of the spa cloth in a twists yarn.

Itty bitty basic cloth the size of a kitchen sponge.

And...I've completely forgotten what this is. The pattern just says "dishcloth".

So I am now up to...8? I think.

Thank you! I actually let my dad pick out a lot of my colors. He was a construction worker for 35 years, but he majored in art in college.  He loves to help me pick out yarn and nail polish.  Tongue

Here are some pictures, you can see its curling up like a bowl...

Oh, I really like that one! Do you know what colorway that is?

Here is my vanilla grit.

Its a whole skein of sugar 'n cream in violet stripes. I will admit, I did not like this colorway until I finished the cloth.

I'm piecing what's left of 2007 and 2008 together, when geocities went down it lost a bunch of patterns. I can piece them together, though, and make one big blanket from what's left.

As for 2010, though, I have 4 squares done.  I only have photos of the first 3 though.

Also, I am having SO much trouble with the tulips square. Its coming out insanely warped, and its curling up like I made a basket. Should I add in some extra chain stitches somewhere to give it some give?

6  My First Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by tehandehness on: November 01, 2011 05:51:59 PM
So about a year ago I found this amazing houndstooth fabric at an upholstery store, and I have been saving it since then. I figured maybe I would make a skirt, but decided the fabric would be too heavy for that (although I still might do it!) but I had to use some of it on something! So I made this purse.

It is my first bag, so I didn't put any pockets in it because I figured that would be one too many firsts for a project, but I never use the pockets in my other purses so it works great for me. The heavy upholstery fabric also helped keep it a little more sturdy.

The lining is just a striped cotton.

So yeah, I hope you like it.

Ok, its been about two years since I've posted a picture on craftster, or longer. Lets see if I can remember! And please forgive my loose ends.

First, we have the Roadtrip Dishcloth in Peaches & Creams Sour Green Apple.

Next, the Almond Back Loop Dishcloth, also in Sour Green Apple. I like the texture on this one.

Third, Bark Sedge stitch. I can't remember the color name of this yarn off the top of my head, ill have to go look it up. I LOVE this stitch, even if mine is a little wonky.

And last, Cypress Double Crochet in scraps of both colors.

I think all my photos will be on weekends, as thats when the boyfriends work lets him bring home their fancy camera.

8  New Yarns (Image Heavy) in Spinning: Completed Projects by tehandehness on: November 11, 2007 12:11:02 PM
I missed Fiber Friday again, so here is a Fiber Sunday to help hold you over until next Friday!  Grin

Undyed hand spun mill ends.

Next, Trevor.  This turned out to be a bulky weight.

I let my younger cousin Trevor dye some superwash roving, then spun it up and named it after him.

Skein 1 - 70 Yards
Skein 2 - 31 Yards

9  Image Heavy - A Few New Things (Yarn Added) in Dyeing: Completed Projects by tehandehness on: November 10, 2007 03:12:50 PM
Note: Ill edit in a few more pictures when the sun comes back up and and I can actually take good pictures.

All were dyed with food dyes.

And a yarn I spun from a roving that my younger cousin dyed.

10  The thinnest I have ever spun! in Spinning: Completed Projects by tehandehness on: October 14, 2007 05:40:18 PM
On my wheel, at least.  A total of 500ish yards total (I haven't counted yardage on the last skein yet).

Its a yummy Rambouillet/Corriedale blend that I just love. It is as of yet unnamed.
