3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Projects from "One Skein" on: March 26, 2007 07:31:43 PM
Hey everyone! I have to put my two cents in! I created 3 felted bowls and needle felted some Reiki designs on them:

I'm going to do the felted striped tote and the clutch next.  I've got a thing for felting right now (but I'm cheating and doing the machine felting, it's faster and gives a tighter surface)
Knit on dudes!

10  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Felt along no.1 - Felt covered soap Gallery on: February 16, 2007 08:07:42 AM
Hi everyone! I've been stalking these pages forever and just have to say thank you for showing your progress and support! The first few soaps were difficult, but once you notice when the felting starts and the fibers start to tighten it's exciting! It's so hard being patient.
Here's one of my recent soaps, I did the 2007 Jan Wishlist swap and made a felted camera case and when it was drying on it's "form" of soap I had this thought burst into my head:

Hope you all like it! (I didn't take a pic of the back, but it's got a needle felted screen and view finder on it.)
