Hey everyone! I have to put my two cents in! I created 3 felted bowls and needle felted some Reiki designs on them:

I'm going to do the felted striped tote and the clutch next.  I've got a thing for felting right now (but I'm cheating and doing the machine felting, it's faster and gives a tighter surface)
Knit on dudes!

purple post-it notes in a book, and she made the card too! Here's the whole package:

3  Re: Felt along no.1 - Felt covered soap Gallery in Felting: Completed Projects by eidnarb on: February 16, 2007 08:07:42 AM
Hi everyone! I've been stalking these pages forever and just have to say thank you for showing your progress and support! The first few soaps were difficult, but once you notice when the felting starts and the fibers start to tighten it's exciting! It's so hard being patient.
Here's one of my recent soaps, I did the 2007 Jan Wishlist swap and made a felted camera case and when it was drying on it's "form" of soap I had this thought burst into my head:

Hope you all like it! (I didn't take a pic of the back, but it's got a needle felted screen and view finder on it.)

Cheesy Yea I received my wish!
Thanks calswimgal ~ what a great Valentine Day!
Great package idea! It's a popcorn box w/the cast of Open Season, I started craving popcorn as soon as I opened my mailbox!

Calswimgal crafted stitch markers (which will be used all the time) and she also surprised me with a panda amigurumi keychain from my wists!!!!

She also included the cutest notecard with a silhouette of a girl knitting a poncho (too cool)
Thanks again calswimgal, you're a great craftster!!!

If anyone has seen the stuffie (pictured on the right) in this picture please report it to the local authorities and send him on the next train to Cincinnati. His flat mates are getting worried.

7  Re: Fill-a-Matchbox Swap in New Swap Theme Ideas by eidnarb on: January 19, 2007 08:04:29 PM
Great idea! Since matchboxes are so small (like an inch long and you can't buy just one), maybe we can fill 2 or more and send to different partners (shipping will be so low on these too that we probably won't be able to get DC numbers). If we do that we'll receive a variety of items. I'd really be into this in February too, i'm trying to space out most of my swaps by 3 wks (and the AO will be starting soon)
If anyone's having a hard time finding these, check your local gas station in the aisles, they ususally have some next to lighter fluid.  Wal-mart-like stores usually carry them in the hiking/outdoor area.  Sometimes the kitchen area has them.
Technically they're called penny packages (and if i've given the wrong size box please pm me and i'll edit this with the larger box info)

looking forward to this swap!
hmmmm.... what to do with the leftover matches?

George from Seattle is boxed up and ready to go home! He'll be shipping flying out tomorrow morning (it's so cold here i hope i can crawl out of bed early enough before work).
This was his most fave place while he was in Cinci, the Krohn Conservatory. It is warm, beautiful and he even tried to escape and swing from the branches! This pic didn't make it into the album unfortunately

mod-podge is the best! i made a guy-friendly gift for christmas,
i bought a plain white mini-lunchbox and spray painted it gloss black
after the paint cured i used the mod-podge to glue images (anime) to the box (make sure there are no air pockets under the images), then when that dried i used the modpodge to create a nice finish (warning though, the first time i created it, i hadn't sealed all the black paint yet and tried to spray acrylic on it, for some reason any of the area that had black paint exposed bubbled up and peeled off) so for the final item i only used mod-podge for sealant.
i bought a small 8oz containter for less than $5
I love it! i plan on making so many projects!

one craftster even made a pin up mirror! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=139202.0!

George (from Seattle) is homesick, I found him walking out the front door today, he said he wants to travel ahead of his package. He's tired of waiting for the pics to come in the mail  Huh I can't blame him, so am I.
