I haven't used freezer paper in quite some time! I've traced the pattern out on cardstock and I use a fine tip pen to trace on my fabric!
Does anyone have the gnome modification? I had it once, but my computer died 2x since then. I've promised my sister a Bilbo Baggins and the gnome would be perfect for a hobbit!
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / stalled motor on: July 29, 2012 06:54:22 PM
I have a brother embroidery machine 4400 and while in the midst of a design, the damn thing stalled.
error code says the main motor has stalled.
Any ideas as to what I can do? (other than throwing the thing out the window- cause seriously folks! so frustrating!)

Thanks for the ideas! I'll probably go with zipper on fabric  with a long tail!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / putting a zipper on a curve HELP on: July 18, 2012 09:18:34 AM
I'm making something awesome for my too cool for words mother in law, but it needs a zipper.
In fact, the zipper needs to curve around corners, like if you take a binder or a folder, and add a zipper to close it all around the edge.
I'd like to be able to do that, and still be able to line it AND have it open and lay flat.

Any ideas? Help is greatly appreciated!!
