1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / my messenger... first prototype... on: December 07, 2006 02:44:23 PM
Hello everybody,
I finished this prototype today, I made this for a project at my university. We have to invent a bag ( or some kind of) to give to exchange students who come to our state. It has to be improved, of course, but the dead-line is in February, so... I think there willl be a few more of them until then...
BTW, Im studying Industrial Design - so be kind with me, Im not so familiar with sewing and fabrics  Wink

This is the inside-bag ( the whole messenger consist of 2 pieces which can be used seperately), but theres missing a big red trashy print missing, still...

Now you fix the outer part (which can be used as a pencil oder needle roll) of the bag with snap-fasterners...

...and wrap it around the inner bag ...

then you get this...

...and that

a detail shot

Comments are very appreciated!  Grin
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knittys "Exchequered" ... a little modified on: November 21, 2006 02:23:37 AM
Hi everybody, finally, I made a scarf, too ... sometimes its fun to do a project thats finished very quick. I made this scarf for my boyfriends birthday and added a skull on one side, as he loves that very much. The pattern is awesome, I think! Im in love with double-knitting now... and so I decided to give a pullover to my boyfriend this christmas in matching coulours but with "Spaceinvaders" (remeber the game?)-pattern ...
hope you like it!

Thank you for looking!  Grin
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / FO: Skully baby hoodie on: October 04, 2006 05:04:07 PM
Hi everybody, I just finished this little hoodie for a good friend of mine who will be father soon. He really loves skulls everywhere (his wife does not...) and so I decided he has to show his baby right from the start what his daddy likes...or is like...  Wink

Hope you like it, too! I used a skull chart I found on the web, sorry, I forgot the name of the designer ( if you are the one who made that up, thank you very much!!).

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / FO: Transparent cardigan -->link to free pattern! on: August 16, 2006 08:08:59 AM
Hi everybody, I caught a cold and couldnt leave the house for a few days, so I sent my boyfriend to  the store to get some new yarn for me ( it must have been horrible for him to talk about yarn qualities with all the women in this store, as he doesnt know anything about this, but the girls were so impressed that a young man was walking in... :-))), and this is what I made of it: my new transparent cardigan! I really love it, its so soft! And its really light weight: only 125g! Sorry for being so proud of it, but normally I am very critical about the things I make - but with this, for the first time, Im completely satisfied...  Grin

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Lacey strapless "somekindof"-tube top, just in time for summer! on: August 05, 2006 05:40:33 AM
Hi everybody, I just finished this top, I hope you like it. I made this from a pattern I found in "Sabrina" ( a Germany knitting magazine). Normally they only publish stuff not even my grandma would like to wear, I think this must have been designed by the trainee  Grin...

6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Finally, I started to crochet - the inescapable bikini ;-)) on: August 05, 2006 05:34:00 AM
Hi everybody, this is my first post to the crochet-department  Grin, I finished this bikini just yesterday, I made it for a friend who is moving to Sweden in a few weeks. if you are wondering why I made a bikini for Sweden ( seems more obvious to make a scarf...doesnt it?), its a runnig gag - my little cousin went to Sweden once and in fact, it was very hot, they all got sunburned and a hawaiian tan... so every time it was raining after that in Germany, everybody would say "Oh, Id love to be in Greece(Spain/Italy/Turkey...) now..." - but not my cousin, he always said "Mom, cant we go back to Sweden?". So I learned about the swedish beaches. They are there! For this reason, I made this bikini. Il give it to her tonight, Im so excited! I hope shell like it as much as I do.

7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Green is hope - or a halter ... finished project! on: July 31, 2006 05:20:16 PM
Hello everybody, I finished this green halter a few days ago and now - its raining all the way here and in fact, now the summer seems to be gone, I realized - I dont like green Huh. I was just in some kinda rush when I went to the shop to buy new yarn and as the colour I wanted wasnt there, I just HAD to buy another colour. Somehow I cant manage my addiction. hhhmmm.
Hope you like it, though.

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / You encouraged me<3 ...pullover/free pattern link! on: July 13, 2006 04:33:34 PM
Heres a pullover I also finished last spring, I was so to say addicted to the needles and just couldnt stop knitting... and, also theres a link to the free pattern ( and a few more patterns, too), its written in German, but if somebody wants to knit this and doesnt speak German, I think I can translate, although my English isnt that perfect. Just tell me!
( And, this time, its me on that pic, looking like I havent slept for days... Grin)
