Im worried, too, I didnt think that it would take so long to get a package to the States, as we stopped using carrier pigeons in the 19th century I think.. arent there planes to take the post over the ocean? Nina, I really hope the package will arrive soon, I dont know what to do right now! That really sucks, I mean, I paid 25 for shipping! Arrgh........... Angry

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / my messenger... first prototype... on: December 07, 2006 02:44:23 PM
Hello everybody,
I finished this prototype today, I made this for a project at my university. We have to invent a bag ( or some kind of) to give to exchange students who come to our state. It has to be improved, of course, but the dead-line is in February, so... I think there willl be a few more of them until then...
BTW, Im studying Industrial Design - so be kind with me, Im not so familiar with sewing and fabrics  Wink

This is the inside-bag ( the whole messenger consist of 2 pieces which can be used seperately), but theres missing a big red trashy print missing, still...

Now you fix the outer part (which can be used as a pencil oder needle roll) of the bag with snap-fasterners...

...and wrap it around the inner bag ...

then you get this...

...and that

a detail shot

Comments are very appreciated!  Grin
