1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Lime Green Duct Tape = Supafly Utility Belt of PWNAGE on: February 26, 2008 07:17:53 PM
Well that's several kinds of awesome! How long did it take you to make?

It actually only took me like, 3 hours, probably less
but that was cuz i tried to sew on the pocket stuff, then i realized that that was a little complicated, so i just made it stick with the tape
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Scoodie! [skuh-dee]: A scarf with a hood on it :D on: February 03, 2008 06:22:48 PM
My friend came to school with one that she had made from a sweater, so i was inspired to make my own. It's super easy to make and very comfortable. Although looking a little weird to some people, i think its very clever and goes with a lot that i wear!

But wait, whats that on the back?

OMG A HOOD?! On a scarf? MADNESS!

But oh so comfy for the colder days

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Lime Green Duct Tape = Supafly Utility Belt of PWNAGE on: January 23, 2008 09:19:41 PM
So i have a bunch of friends who make fun of how i knit, sew, and make a bunch of seemingly useless things just cuz i have time on my hands. However, they did give me a great idea on this one. My friend Alison was making a joke while i was knitting one day that i should make a utility belt to hold all of my knitting/sewing needs. I just laughed, but when i had no homework the other day, i thought to my self "hey, i have this role of duct tape, and an old belt, maybe i should give it a try!"  So i did, and here is the outcome. Sorry that i wasn't cool enough to make the belt from total scratch, but i dont have THAT much time on my hands, unfortunately  Sad

Questions? Comments? Concerns?

oh, and i wore it to school to, and oh boy the looks i got. HA! But all of my fellow Bando's loved it, along with majority everyone else! Hope you do too!!!

I think it looks fantastic. Personally I wouldn't take a chance with the buttons if it looks that good, due to a possibility of hte buttons being all amiss nad unaligned. Great job!

Okay, well you can probably expect a complete tutorial within the next week or so, due to one of my friends really wanting one, so I'm obliged to make her one.

When it's done we shall model our creations.

However, it may take a little longer than a week because I have to practice my drums for marching band, since I am in the heat of a major competition for a spot on the snare line. Therefore, my priority is drums at the moment. Sorry  Sad

But as soon as I get it done it'll be on here! Thanks!

Thanks so much all of you!

I'll try to get to work on a tute, as soon as i can figure out the best way to make this, since my meathod was a little difficult

I'll put it up as soon as I can

Thank you all again!
