i recieved a very cool japanese inspired hand sewn coin purse from SOON FAMO ARTISTE two nights ago, sorry i havent posted yet, ive been at an all day conference for the last two days.

so i made my own version out of this fabric my mom ((dulcinea)) got in a swap...it was supposed to be for a corset, but she didnt get likt, directions and stuff, so it was destined to be a tote.


my mom described the fabric as kinda LSD ish...but i kinda like it the more i look at it.  i want to make another, much larger version to be used as my school bag...but im getting a tote in a swap so i migt wait...and for now the eco friendly one from the health food store works great...its huge!

here is the fabulously wonderful supply grab bag i got from dontlookback yesterday! i got a bunch of fabric, split ring stitch markers ((which i had asked for)) and some sanrio ((?)) stickers...yay for cuteness! MODIFIED:: i also forgot to say that i recieved this great purple yarn that will most likely be a super fuzzy scarf.



the green fabric will be kanzashi, the bright big splashy flower one a journal im thinking ((ive never made a fabric journal before and want to try)) the batik is just beautiful, and the pink paisly is tooo cool.

finally yesterday after a whole month of waiting i recieved from zombieflesh! yay! i love the stuff she sent, its all fabulous, and welllll worth the wait. its a great assortment of things ((not in the picture are two rings she sent, because i forgot to take them off!!)) and here is the picture...

i recieved both of my kits between yesterday and today, first a spinning kit from instar, which is awesome, even if i am having a few issues figuring out how to spin...




and then today an awesome intarsia kit with a bunch of eurpoean sweets from babbizle...



thanks to both of these ladies, i love my kits, and cant wait to figure everything out.

today i recieved the best panta ever from Esmerelda. its just the perfect shade of red, and it fits like a charm over my dreaded hair.

here is the hat i sewed in about an hour tonight, the fabric is from my boyfriend,, and it is lined with cheapo purple paisly from walmart, you can kinda see it on the underside of the brim



and here is the tam i knit in two days...i posted the pattern in another thread on the knitting board, but if anyone wants it PM me and ill find it for you



the tam is made from patons SWS ((soy wool stripes)) and for wool its super super soft, ive hardly taken the thing off since i finished it two night ago
