thanks for the compliments, guys!  I really enjoyed making my sock monkey.  I love what everyone else has done so far too.  I really enjoy seeing everyone's individual take on things.

Is anyone here also participating in the Sock Monkey challenge?  I'm thinkin' about it... There aren't any "you must be a member for this long..." restrictions, are there?

Hello!  I'm fairly new here, and I decided the color craftalong was a great idea. So. without further ado, here is my pink craft.

I gave her white hair despite her youth, la Judy Jetson. I think I'll name her Margie.  Cheesy I'm planning to let her hold various things, but right now i just like to look at her. Aww...

Hello all!  I'm new to craftster, and congratulations to this craftalong, as it is my first to post in ever! : )

Here is my sock monkey.  I named him Spencer.

He's made from a much beloved and well worn pair of socks I purchased in London after I accidentally dropped a pair of socks in the hotel toilet in Munich. They've been so worn out I can't wear them anymore, so it was perfect for this project.  I did have to darn some spots on him, though.  I used another very worn pair of socks to make his boots and hat, and his bum-patch (that's covering up a large, darned spot).

sorry if this is too image heavy - if so let me know. it's been a pleasure participating, and I hope to do so some more. : )

I've been a craftster lurker for quite some time now, but the notion of a Strong Bad craftalong made me finally join the ranks of active craftsters. I made a Trogdor costume for my boyfriend a few years ago...I went as a burninated peasant.  We had a blast, and any Strong Bad/Trogdor related craft is go for me. : )

Count me in!
