2  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / SAN FRANCISCO KNITTERS! on: January 04, 2008 04:28:19 PM

Got an hour to spare?  Need to pare down that stash?
Knit a scarf!

Warm and Fuzzy, a group of friendly teen knitters in San Francisco, is collecting scarves for the homeless and impoverished in the Bay Area and we need your help!  An hour or two of your time can make a world of difference for someone in need.  Warm and Fuzzy asks you to spend that time knitting (or crocheting!) Smiley.  A hand-made scarf is not only personal and priceless, it's practical, too!
Knit a scarf between now and Valentine's Day and, well, feel the love.   Wink

4  California / California: North / Re: Brand New At San Francisco! Looking for some info... on: January 03, 2008 07:42:19 AM
Fabrix has the cheapest fabric in the city.  It's a schlep (Balboa & 2nd avenue), but it's worth it.
