14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knitted Ear Mittens! on: April 04, 2007 07:53:20 PM
So I was knitting in class, because I was bored and we were doing nothing.
And my Sam friend comes up to me asks me for a pair of ear mittens, an idea she's had for a while, but unable to make because she can't knit.  (that is a really poorly constructed sentence -- sorry!)

And after working for 5 hours straight, I came up with ear "mittens" that look more like hats, but nonetheless, serve their purpose.

I'm not sure what kind of fabric it is (what a bad seamstress I am LOL) but I do know it's washable... I made sure of it.

That is my brother's leg.  He is 6 years old.  The reason they make kids so cute is so when they are annoying you don't clobber them.  The bracelet I'm wearing is one he made me in school.  He's so proud of himself because he made a pattern.

^Here we are

A scarf I knit for my mother.  It didn't come out great, and I get a lot of cracks from the menfolk on how they'd like to use it for fishing.

There's also a yarn store in West Hartford on LaSalle Road called "sit 'n knit."
