1  Pattern finding help in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by CraftsyFattie on: May 11, 2008 07:27:11 PM
So I know this is probably a simple dress to make, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a detailed tutorial or pattern to make something like this?  Thanks!

2  Knitted Ear Mittens! in Knitting: Completed Projects by CraftsyFattie on: April 04, 2007 07:53:20 PM
So I was knitting in class, because I was bored and we were doing nothing.
And my Sam friend comes up to me asks me for a pair of ear mittens, an idea she's had for a while, but unable to make because she can't knit.  (that is a really poorly constructed sentence -- sorry!)

And after working for 5 hours straight, I came up with ear "mittens" that look more like hats, but nonetheless, serve their purpose.

I'm not sure what kind of fabric it is (what a bad seamstress I am LOL) but I do know it's washable... I made sure of it.

That is my brother's leg.  He is 6 years old.  The reason they make kids so cute is so when they are annoying you don't clobber them.  The bracelet I'm wearing is one he made me in school.  He's so proud of himself because he made a pattern.

Cuffs made from a pattern I got on here I think... they didn't come out right LOL but they're okay

Irish Hiking Wrist Warmers.  The third thing I ever knit  Shocked

A scarf I knit for my mother.  It didn't come out great, and I get a lot of cracks from the menfolk on how they'd like to use it for fishing.

The back of a sweater that is taking me foreverrrrrrr

I've knit other stuff I'll post soon Smiley

I decided to make a black dress.  It's from a pattern in the early 70's I believe.  I wish you could see this dress, it's so gorgeous in person and fits perfectly.  It's incredible.

Hope you like!

7  Re: I dont know where to put this.. but I need help with sweats in Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions by CraftsyFattie on: July 12, 2006 10:37:00 AM
They seem quite simple to make actually...

If you use that t-shirt to capris tutorial on livejournal, you could probably make them in fleece with a drawstring waistband and some thin elastic ruching or whatnot on the bottom.  Or you could easily alter another pair of sweatpants to make them.  And then you can stencil "PINK" on the rear.

I've been thinking of making a pair because I own a pair in L, and I'll never fit them Cry
