1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Snazzy apron on: August 31, 2004 06:51:53 PM
I love it!  LOVE the fabric.  Would you be willing to share a basic apron pattern/measurment chart with us?  I saw some awesome aprons today at Anthropologie and was inspired, but, I also have not sewed much yet... I am a newbie.

Thanks in advance.

2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: Pillow from weird fabric lying around on: August 27, 2004 04:10:25 PM
Hello - I love your pillow!  I just bought the same shape/size inserts for some pillows that I'd like to make out of similar material and I'm wondering if you could tell me how you closed them off, seeing that you had to fit the insert in there to.  I am just learning to sew with a machine, so a non-zipper would be good. Smiley  Thanks.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: anybody know anything about GLAZE? on: June 08, 2004 03:29:59 PM
Also, those of us painters use something called Matte Medium or Gloss Medium, made by Liquitex and available in art supply stores.  It's a bit procey, but it mixes with acrylic paint well for a glaze.  The idea of glazing is just to separate the pigment more by adding a clear additive.  Hope that helps!

Oh, SO CUTE.  I have a serious thing for dressing kids in animal clothing.  Good job!

Woah!  I saw one of these at a vintage store in San Francisco and thought it was a one-of-a-kind thing.  These are trippy.
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: $12.99 ikea toybox on: May 19, 2004 03:43:05 PM
I love your IKEA box.  I just did one of their 9-drawer $9.99 specials.  I painted it green/blue and then put a postage stamp from Thailand on the outside of each drawer.  It's great for pencils/pens/art supplies.  I'll post a pic once I get a new camera. Smiley
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Straw Stars... on: May 19, 2004 03:38:14 PM
A great place for plastic colored straws is IKEA.  They have tons of colors and change each season - for CHEAP!

Wow.  I just bought a sewing machine and I am inspired!  I love your style and the silkscreened patterns are amazing.  Well done. Smiley
