This is my first time posting a completed project. Craftster has been so inspiring to me! I love it here.
OK, anyways - onto the pictures. These are two articles of clothing I've made...I wore these on my trip to Washington DC this weekend, so I have pictures of them.
1) A dress I made from a pattern. I'm still in Maryland, so I don't have the pattern number
I love how it turned out! The Walmart ladies helped out a bunch
The pictures was taken outside of a french resteraunt called "La Madeleine."
Sorry for the terrible quality...my camera is terrible
I also have a black button-up shirt over it, so you can't get the full view...I'll try to get a better picture later...
2) A shirt that I made out of this cute material that had planets and stars on it. It was super easy to make - I just shirred 4 rows on the top, and 3 rows on the bottom. I also shirred some straps that I attached....and...voila!
It was terrific for touring Washington DC in 90-100 degree weather....because of the bubble-shirt style, the material didn't really even touch my skin, so I was nice and cool. I love this shirt
At lunch this one girl came up to me and said, "I like your shirt!" So that was cool.
This picture was taken at the National Museum of Art, by the way...in between the East and West buildings, they have these awesome triangle-mirror things.
