i got a pink pair ready so my granddaughter could lace her own. it was easier to punch holes in it this way...use the hole punch in one direction, then flip it over and it will cut through. i may just have the cheapest hole punch ever,though Cheesy and you could probably do this easier with a drill; haven't tried that yet. i'll let ya'll know because i think we're gonna be making quite a few pair for all the little girlies in the family :)if i lace it with the lace on the top side at the toe, i can sew a silk flower or other embellishment there....just thinking out loud...

thanks ya'll, i was inspired by margot potter the impatient crafter  tutorial. very cute, with long laces and a flower on the toe thong part. i loved it! i'm punching holes in another pair of flops today.
