1  COOKING / Dessert / Bizarre Jello Creations on: February 16, 2004 06:19:49 PM
Ok, this is a little odd. So my friend and I have made a couple of weird Jello concoctions from the 1950's Betty Crocker cookbooks and had so much fun making them (it is hard to stop laughing when there is lettuce suspended in lime jello in front of you!!)  that we have decided to host a gelatin sculpture exhibition/competition. I want to make a mold of this scary little plastic baby I have and then cast a ton of little Jello babies. Does anyone know what material is edibly safe for making molds? Has anyone ever made their own chocolate molds? Thanks...
2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / protecting origami on: January 04, 2004 10:57:05 AM
Hey all,
Does anyone know of ANY way to protect origami creations from being totally squished? For example, if I wanted to preserve those origami beads from a few posts ago, do you have any suggestions as to how I might do that? Is there any kind of spray that I could put on them that won't ruin the paper and will give it a bit of a stiff coating? Maybe Stiffy would work? I have been racking my brain for days and I am totally stuck! Ack! Huh
Thanks, di
3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Origami necklace help on: December 28, 2003 02:35:31 PM
Hi everyone,
I came across this necklace today, but the diagram doesn't show and I am lousy at written directions when it comes to origami:

Does anyone know how to make these beads?
Thanks!
