That is really cute.  Smiley What is the ring made out of?

It's a bit of a late reply, but you could put a jump ring through the hole in the charm, then just slip it onto the necklace. If that makes any sense.

It isn't exactly conventional or high-quality, but silver-colored nail polish may work. I've had luck painting things with it to use in jewelry making.
4  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Discussion and Questions / Re: Has anyone dealt with Fire Mountain Gems? on: June 28, 2008 08:10:17 PM
I just ordered a somewhat large order from FMG. Now you can ship anything for $5 through FedEx ground, regardless of weight.
I was really impressed by their all-assortable pricing, too. The savings from that were close to half the price of my order. (I got about 50 items.)

I haven't gotten the order, but from the good things i've heard, their good prices, and great customer service, I most likely won't order anywhere else from now on.

I go to Blue Mountain.
I'm only a sophomore, and I don't think I know you, so, probably, you wouldn't know me.

My name's Meredith Fay, though.

I saw that today in the gym. It looked good with the paint splatters.  Smiley

7  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: Charities looking for blankets in Tompkins County NY? on: December 01, 2007 04:19:20 PM
I knit, and recently a few ladies and church got me into making "prayer shawls." There's a religious thing to it, but basically they're knitted (or crocheted) blankets of any size, usually wide enough to put around one's shoulders. I know that there is always a few at the local food pantry, if someone looks cold, or like they're just having a bad day, we've sent them on mission trips to pass out to victims, and the nursing homes always give a list for Christmas of their residents who won't have someone coming to be with them for the holidays. The blankets never have to look great or be in complicated patterns - no matter what it always has cheered the person up. It would be something that's easy to do and coordinate.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Vanna's Choice Yarn. on: August 17, 2007 06:20:29 PM
I was at the craft store today and I saw "Vanna's Choice" (It kind of shocked me at first to see her face on yarn.) But it's actually pretty good, and I agree, the mustardy color is cool.
