Neato! What kind of yarn did you use? And if they're fast I think I'll have to make some!
6  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash on: December 11, 2006 08:21:34 PM
Anyone heard of Butternut Squash Gnocchi? It is uber-delicious and surprisingly filling. The ingredient list and a video of the gnocchi-making are here:

http://wishuponastove.com/pasta-grains-and-legumes/butternut-squash-gnocchi-with-sage-brown-butter/

This is the ingredient list as given on the website, but the video (about 6 minutes long) gives the directions.

1 Butternut Squash (About 1-3/4 Pounds)
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
2 to 2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
Butter*
Fresh Sage*

*I use ground sage, plus some Italian seasoning, as well as olive oil instead of butter. Equally yummy!

This is, so far, the only way I like my squash. Smiley
Try it!

Nice job!  Smiley It looks completely different! I'd make one if I could pull the look off well enough. :/

Eee... These are really cute! I love how fuzzy they are. Smiley I might have to make me a similar pair.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: earflap helmet hat (pattern from free online generator) on: November 01, 2006 07:41:50 PM
Finished it! It didn't take as long as I thought it would, but it definitely came out larger than I hoped/expected. It's cozy though. Smiley

When you made your hat, did you set the size to "adult medium"?
