Thatonegirl - as always, lovely stuff and I"m impressed with the speed at which you seemed to get things done!

Lindy - cute hoop!

Two finishes for the last week.  The second rainbow day quilt for Quilts for Kids

And the second quilt kit quilt for Quilts for kids

I got all 4 packaged up and mailed out today.  I have 4 more tops that I hope to get done by the end of the month to send to them

2 charity quilts I did.  I have a few more planned out, with the tops done, I just have to find the time to quilt them up

That one is from a quilt kit from QuiltsforKids.org

This one is from stash/fabric I bought for charity quilts

I made this one for Quiltsforkids.org from their kit

This one I made from my own fabric.  I bought a bold of My Little Pony fabric with the intention of making 6 (two of each pony) quilts to send along to QuiltsForKids.  I pulled fat quarters in colors that went with the pony's color schemes.  This one is blues for Rainbow dash.

So this week I plan to finish up the second Rainbow Dash one and the second kit and get those sent off.  Then, hopefully over the rest of the month I can finish the other 4 pony quilts and send them off.

While the entire costume isn't done, I'm calling it a finish for me. I made the base dress for the kiddo to be a pokemon.  She has a very specific vision in her head - so I'm letting her be in charge of the wings and stuff.  I drafted the pattern using a dress she already had that she liked the shape and figured out how to make it have the 'belly' area.

A finish for me.  I almost forgot to take a picture before gifting it.  I am not sporty and the mom is a co-worker, so her tastes are what I know from work - and I know she loves Alabama football.  So, that was the basis for the quilt.  I picked out the grey flannel elephants for the back so it was soft and tied in with 'Bama... and I guess they are decorating in grey elephants, so yay!  I wanted it to be masculine, but still fun

lots of lovely stuff!

My finish for the week, two zip bags for my stepdaughters for Easter.  They are older, so I figured it was more useful than a basket.  Fabric is stash, and i suppose zippers are too as I ordered a bunch the other month so has to have some on hand.  I used interfacing on one, but it's still a bit floppy. I assume its because it is large, maybe fusible fleece would be the way to go

my finish for april so far.  A cathedral window pillow cover for a swap on instagram.  First time trying it, but I figured - use some fabric you love and dive in

I used a combo of SewDeerlyLoved's pillow tutorial on her blog and instructions in the most recent issue of I love quilting and patchwork magazine
