Two finishes for Project Linus.  A fabric designer hosted on instagram if she sent you fabric scraps, you would make a quilt for Project Linus.  So I made one from my stash (Frozen) that had been a WIP for a while and one that was a blend of the scraps and my stash

AIMR - I am sorry for your loss.

KK - that's going to be epic!  I start a lot of cross stitch and then get overwhelmed and stop.

I finished a sew together bag for a swap.  She requested it be "kawaii" and I think I got it

That1girl - I'm always impressed with the volume of things you get done each time you post!

AIMR- I'm not sure I've seen crochet in the hoop - those look really neat!

A finish for April for me - a baby quilt for a co-worker

And the back

Homerof2 - Like the puzzle pieced mug, gives it a nice visual interest than solid squares.

Sloth - I love your scrappy quilts - I need to work some with my scraps!

Here's one more for me - a baby quilt for a co-worker.  I messed up cutting a few times because I got my template turned around.  Also, I made things more difficult on myself because of the Y-seams created by not wanting to cut the superhero fabric down the middle of a character

I had over 2 weeks of pages to catch up on, everyone is doing such great things!

Here's stuff I finished up at the end of march.

2 fabric baskets (from stash - Yay!) one for my bathroom and one for my sister for easter candy

A pillow cover made from scraps set that I got from a crafter on instagram - I love how the fabrics all play together.  (Was a WIP from October)

A quilt for my dad.  My sister in law gave me these zodiac fat quarters and panel this summer and I didn't want to cut them up and lose the design.  It left a lot of negative space and I really only quilt straight lines, so I sent it out to a quilter who quilted this great celestial design. (Was WIP from July)

Best part - pretty much everything, except the pillow form were from stash!

I love all the charity and destashing quilts!

Sloth - that "beneath" quilt is awesome.

I have a finish for March.  It's a batik zodiac quilt for my dad.  My SIL gave me a stack of Zodiac fat quarters and a panel this summer.  I didn't want to cut them into pieces and lose the design, so I kept them whole.  This made for a lot of negative space, and since I really only quilt straight lines, I sent it out to a long arm quilter for these fun celestial designs.

Drooling over pies and PI's and lovely wood carvings!

AIMR - if you move to any of those places - look me up - I"m outside of the New Orleans area so it would be neat to meet up.

I made a pair of City Gym Shorts for my stepdaughter.  I look for there to  be several more pairs - both for me and  her.  This combo was going to be originally mine, but made her a pair first as her spring break was coming to an end.

Those coasters are lovely!

My younger stepdaughter is really into needlefelting, so I thought she might like to try Koolaid dyeing some fiber.  I also did 2 skeins of sock yarn (only pictures of 1 - the other is still wet).  We had fun and sort of have an idea of colors we like, so we'll do some more experimenting this summer.

2 quilts made almost entirely from stash (the baby one I bought fabric for binding).  I've almost used up the huge roll of batting I bought a few years ago at black friday.  It's great, the only downside is its only 60in wide, so that has limited some of the quilts I can use it with.

I'm hoping the recipient of the baby quilt can take a few better pictures for me as I was trying to grab those on my way out the door

Cool pattern Mio - I like the look of colors all in the same family.

Those cookies look yummy!

Finished quilt for a friend who is moving.  I started the top over a year ago, and finished it in June - then it sat while I figured out backing.  I ended up having enough of the green fabric in stash for backing (that never happens)  So yay, another WIP done
