Those outfits are fantastic!  I bet that "fierce dress" looks great on you!  May I ask what pattern you used?  I really love the scoop of the neckline and the staps.  I bet it really is flattering on curves.

Great job!  Very professional looking.
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby blanket - "blanket buddy" (update - pic heavy) AND NOW WITH TUTE! on: December 18, 2007 01:48:56 PM
Very adorable! Great embroidery too.  I'm sure your aunt will be touched and your baby cousins will cherish them.

Cheytown, your dress is simply amazing.  I was floored when I saw the reconstruction.  So artsy and chic!

Your daughter is adorable!

Vegbee, you have amazing skills!  Thank you for making a tutorial, I hope to try this out tonight or tomorrow.  Though, sewing on knits is a little iffy for me sometimes since I don't have a serger and I don't always get the stitch right.  However, if mine look even 10% as good as anything you do, I will be satisfied though.

Your Wee Monkey is so adorable that I swear I would ovulate from just looking at her if I wasn't already pregnant!
7  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions/thoughts on letterhead on: September 24, 2006 10:39:04 AM
I was looking for info for a friend, which is how I found your post and thought I'd share with you the great website that I found.

I think if you bought the stamp you can't create something with it and photocopy it or put a copyright on it.  The image on the stamp is already copyrighted by the company/artist that created it.  Stamp companies have policies on use of their stamps for creating and selling things, even the specifics of where they will allow you to sell and quantities and such.

That is very cute.  I love the transfer and the little sparkle at the bottom!  I need to learn to crochet.  Anyway, very nice and who says handbags must be practical?!
9  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Kool-Aid as a subtitute for Citric Acid???? on: August 14, 2006 02:56:01 PM
It was at a Safeway in Alameda, California.  Good luck!
10  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Re: Can someone help me use this picture to make something? on: August 14, 2006 02:20:17 PM
Not to be negative, well, I guess I do but only out of concern...  Does anyone besides me think that posting a picture of a child with her name and where she goes to school is a bad idea?  I am the mother of 3 children and I sure hope nobody ever does that with my kid's photos and information.

I think it's lovely that you want to make her nice present with her photo and I realize that her photo is already on the website, but now everybody knows her name.  Unfortunately, there are some really creepy people out there.  I'll admit I have an overdeveloped sense of the bad things that adults can do to children and am a self-proclaimed over-protective mother, but after reading this thread, I am worried for the girl.
