thank you all for your lovely compliments Smiley

and i know exactly what you mean about trying to create antique finishes, aliastriona...i have a hard time of it as well...and everyone always makes it seem so simple: "just brush on the paint then wipe it off."  "just rub the stamp pad along the edges."  i can't ever seem to get it right either...

i would love to participate, but would prefer to see some of the second season on sci-fi first...
i too am trying to keep an open mind to the new dr.  but eccleston is what hooked me on the series...
so if the swap is planned for later in the year, i'm in...
if you decide on this summer i'm out, i'm afraid...

i've thought about making eye pillows as well... but then i start thinking about disinfecting/cleansing...they wouldn't be heavy enough if you used pollyfill for stuffing...using buckwheat and the like...well... i dont' know how well they would hold up to the repeated washing in hot water... could always make it with a vinyl cover (which would make it way easier to disinfect) but then i think "would i want something that has just been hosed down with chemical disinfectants sitting on my eyes..."
i suppose i could always make a vinyl one and then make a few washable slipcovers...hmmmmm...might just have to add that to my to do list...

and the denim lotion holder sounds really cute, starry...

have either of you tried mixing up your own aromatherapy oils/lotions?
