1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Little girls' dress into Skirt for the SEAS! PICTURESSSS!!!! on: June 03, 2009 08:38:38 AM
This is my first clothing post! I've been lurking for like, two years. I love crafting, but I never make anything that I like enough to post.

SO. Here goes...

I found this dress at Goodwill. I tried it on. It was kid sized. I got stuck in it... and ripped it. OH NO! I felt terrible! So, I decided to buy it. While I was struggling to get myself out of it, I had a great idea: I would turn it into a high waisted skirt!

I moved the zipper, added some bais tape, and VOILA! A SKIRT WORTHY OF THE SEA!

Here's a detail of the heart buttons.

And the skirt on me!

Yay! I did it! First successful recon! Thanks for looking!!!! What do you think?
