I just bought a jar of armour etch and the cream a little chunky an has little crystals in it. I tried using it, but where the crystals in the cream touched the glass it did not etch very well, leaving little spots.

Is that normal? Should I return it?

So, here is my second embroidery attempt: a little birdie on my jacket. I must say that you (mostly) ladies and (too few) men at craftster have inspired me to take up embroidery, I love it! Now so many things are calling me for some added detail!

My brother lives down in South Florida where Hurricane Frances just hit. His house was not damaged too much, but he has been with out power. I am in the process of putting a gift package together for him, things that he needs, plus something to cheer him up.
Have any ideas on what I should include???
