I did this set to donate to a silent auction fundraiser for the Kid's Help Phone in my town next week.  The bag is fully reversible which I totally love.  Let me know what you think!

  Shocking I know. I'm happy to have a new tote  bag.  I really needed it It's close to my avatar bag but with different ribbon.  I love it.
It has one outside pocket which fits my keys and cell and then 4 inside pockets for all my junk. 

I'm in love with this bag!!  It took me most of the day to design the pattern and figure out how to put it together.  Hard work!  Anyway, it's a mix of three prints and a solid white on the outside that I quilted.  The inside is solid in one of the prints.  It's pretty roomy I can't wait to try it out tomorrow!

My second project of the day.

I went to Walmart for ribbon this afternoon and 18 yards of fabric followed me home.    Both the white with black polka dots and the black and white stripe are part of the trip.  In my defense it was all $1.77 a yard.  I would have been crazy to leave it at that price, right?   

I've had these handles for a long time and I finally worked up the courage to make a bag with them.  Enjoy! 

It's pretty blah here.  We don't have any snow due to the gigantic rainstorm we had yesterday but it's still cold and yucky out.  I needed some summer in my life so I make this mini messenger this afternoon.   It's still a good sized purse, you can tell in the picture with some of my junk inside.  I can fit keys, wallet, makeup bag, and my cellphone in it with room to spare. 

I hope you all like it. 

I love giving these as shower gifts so I make them up a bunch at time since I have friends hit me up for them too.   

I made these this week.  They're all 12'x12'. I find it so much easier to work assembly line style when making taggies.  Plus I like getting it over with. lol

The brown velvet was a Christmas gift for my best friend of 20 years.    It's a cotton velvet exterior, which I have to say is dreamy to work with. It has so much body and just sews together so nicely compared to regular velvet.  I'm very going back!  The inside is brown satin and the ribbon straps are satin too.
She absolutely loved it!! 

I made two of the pink polka dots, one for my mom and one for my aunt.  My mom likes to be a little flashy and this fabric did the trick for her. It's silk (woo hoo!) and the inside in purple satin.  My aunt left to go back to Austrailia right after Christmas and she is loving having a summery purse as soon as she got home to Sydney.
