well, foolish me, i joined the halloween small stuffie swap and then jumped the gun on creating my vision before being assigned a partner. she has little ones and wants something toddler proof which google eyes and string limbs are NOT i'm afraid. it's all good, it's a chance to make something even more fabulous for her!

mr. monkey brains here will be travelling to the UK in exchange for a cd of xmas tunes. he's very excited to be going across the ocean but he'll need a hat, i think, to keep his noggin warm...

it's only cut out so far, i've been stitching them all by hand so it really does take forever!

here's a picture of the ones that are finished and the ones in progress....

(yam, broccoli, onion, garlic, string beans,
mushrooms, almonds, cucumber, tomato, kiwi,
beet, turnip, eggs, can of beans, corn on the cob, popcorn! the "box" will have red stripes like movie popcorn Cheesy)

now i wish i'd picked some up in every shade they had, i want to make a brown skinned poppet for my friends little brown skinned daughter, i wonder if i can dye some of what i got? it's tan, do you think it would take colour? i hope so, i'll test a swatch.

hey y'all, i'm loving the poppet enthusiasm and all the creativity but could we move the poppets to the poppet thread please? it's here

this one is supposed to be for halloween crafts and i think we're scaring off anyone interested in doing that 'cause all we post in here are the fabulous dollies.
'course halloween poppets are welcome here  Wink but regular wonderfully dollies should go to that thread. Thanks!
