It took me a while, but I finally finished this scarf as a surprise for a friend.



It's made of squares from a vintage granny square pattern, out of thrifted yarn, with a size 3 hook.  I'm really pleased with how it turned out! It was a great pattern for on-the-go, too.  Maybe I'll make one for myself  Wink

thanks everyone! they really are quick to make.

The wooden handles have a metal rod across the bottom and I just single crochet over it to attach the handles.

I really like making granny squares- they're easy and bitesized. But an afghan is too big a challenge for me! Hence these little totes:
