IWANTONE.

It's an fantastic replica - because it reads as Sheldon from the wee little pictures on the front page of the site. The sign is super cute too!

Will you be making Amy and Bernadette? I might have to stalk you if you do~
23  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Cat Series, 2011 on: January 29, 2012 08:44:00 PM

These drawings were made for my final project in a Drawing II class. Found some beautiful images from Fuck Yeah Hairless Cats tumblr blog and then added some extra elements to them with Photoshop. I used watercolor pencils first, then watercolors to dissolve the pencil and finally regular colored pencils on top of everything.

We were supposed to develop a theme within a series of images. I decided to go with the idea of protection of the weird inside of us all. That it's a beautiful fragile strangeness that needs caring to thrive.

SOYES. Questions/comments/mudslinging, all are welcome!  Cheesy

It's a lovely painting so far, the fur is rendered awesome! I think it would benefit from a background though! A nice light green to match the eyes maybe?

And just fyi - in watercolor, you work from light to dark. So, white (highlights) should be the white of the paper. Taping them off with masking tape works just fine. Wink

amaryllisroze: omg! invest in a wee cordless dremel - It's super handy for general crafts without having to bust a ton of stuff out and then it can belong to you and your husband will want it~

crazyalien8: what's your source for tins?
Specialty bottles. I want to buy everything from there!

EDIT: OH HEY! Or alpha stamps too - like amaryllisroze recommended. With shipping, they're around the same price for 10 tins ($13-14).  Cheesy
